In my work I explore the role of photography in shaping our understanding of our identity and history. Photographs are more than just records of the past, they influence how we see ourselves, how we construct narratives, and how we remember. I am fascinated by their ability to function as both evidence and illusion.
I use a variety of photographic images, including archival photos, family photos, film stills, found photos, and self-shot photos. By placing these images in a new context, changing them by manipulation, or combining them with others, layered stories unfold.
